Before and After Care

Waxing Aftercare Advice

To help your skin heal well and reduce irritation, redness, ingrown hairs, and breakouts, please follow these simple aftercare guidelines.

For the first 24–48 hours avoid:

• Hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs
• Sunbeds or excessive sun exposure
• Swimming pools (especially chlorinated water)
• Gym, excessive sweating or friction
• Tight clothing on freshly waxed areas
• Perfumed products, deodorants, fake tan, strong active skincare or exfoliation on treated areas

Do:

• Keep the area clean and cool
• Wear loose cotton clothing where possible
• Moisturise gently after 24–48 hours if skin feels dry
• Exfoliate gently 2–3 times per week after 3–4 days (not immediately after waxing) to help reduce ingrown hairs

Important:

Mild redness, sensitivity or tiny bumps can be completely normal after waxing and usually settle within a few hours to a couple of days.

If you experience prolonged irritation, please contact us.

Brow Wax & Tint Aftercare

To help your brows heal beautifully and maintain your tint for longer, please follow the advice below.

For the first 24 hours avoid:

• Touching or rubbing the area unnecessarily
• Hot steam, saunas or excessive sweating
• Strong skincare products around the brows (acids, retinol, exfoliants)
• Makeup directly over the area if skin feels irritated
• Excessive sun exposure

Do:

• Keep the area clean and dry
• Moisturise gently if skin feels slightly dry or sensitive
• Brush brows into shape daily if desired

Important:

A little redness after waxing is normal and usually settles quickly.

Tint longevity varies depending on skin type, skincare routine and sun exposure.

Lash Lift Aftercare

A lash lift works by reshaping your natural lashes. Proper aftercare helps maintain the best results.

For the first 24–48 hours avoid:

• Water or steam directly on lashes
• Mascara or eye makeup
• Rubbing, touching or sleeping face-down where possible
• Saunas, swimming, excessive sweating or steam rooms
• Oil-based products around the eyes

Do:

• Be gentle with lashes
• Brush lashes gently if needed after the first 24 hours
• Sleep carefully to avoid bending lashes

Important:

Avoid using waterproof mascara regularly as it may weaken lashes over time.

Results typically last around 6–8 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle.

Facial Aftercare (Deep Cleansing Facials)

Your skin may feel fresh, glowy and clean after treatment. Mild redness or sensitivity can occasionally happen, especially after extractions.

For the first 24–48 hours avoid:

• Heavy makeup if possible (especially immediately after treatment)
• Heat, steam rooms, saunas or intense exercise
• Harsh skincare products (retinol, acids, scrubs, strong actives)
• Picking, squeezing or touching blemishes
• Excessive sun exposure

Do:

• Keep skin hydrated and moisturised
• Use gentle skincare
• Wear SPF daily
• Drink water and allow skin time to rebalance

Important:

If extractions were performed, small temporary marks or redness can happen and usually settle quickly.

Best results are achieved with regular treatments and a suitable home routine.

Nail Aftercare Advice

To keep your nails looking beautiful for longer and help prevent lifting, breakage or damage:

Do:

• Wear gloves when cleaning or washing up
• Apply cuticle oil regularly to keep nails healthy and flexible
• Be gentle with your nails — they are jewels, not tools
• Book maintenance appointments on time

Avoid:

• Picking, biting or peeling product off
• Using nails to open cans, scrape labels or force objects
• Excessive exposure to chemicals without gloves

Important:

If lifting or damage occurs, please avoid pulling or removing product yourself, as this may damage the natural nail.
